Seventh Annual Fall Harvest Festival and Dinner Auction

                        Mark Your Calendars !!

Mark your calendar now for the seventh annual Fall Harvest Festival and Dinner Auction to be held at St. John Veterans Memorial Parish Hall on Saturday, November 7, 2009. The evening will begin at 4:00 with appetizers and drinks followed by a sumptuous entree.  Whew!!! Are those taste buds salivating yet? After much belt loosening, the evening will continue with a silent and live auction. Making a return visit as our guest auctioneer will be radio personality Farmer Dave Schumacher of KTRS 550 AM in St. Louis. Farmer Dave does the farm reports every morning on KTRS and has a Saturday morning radio show. Farmer Dave also operates his own auction company and does many charitable auctions in the St. Louis and Metro East area.
What am I bid for this wonderful package? $1000 you say? We have been authorized to offer this tremendous opportunity for enjoyment to the first 250 people who respond for only $25.00 per person. Please contact the church office if you would like to purchase tickets for the auction. You may also contact the church office if you would like to donate items for the
auction. Monetary donations and services to be auctioned are very welcome and highly encouraged. So what should you do now?
Clear your schedule for November 7, 2009, and mark that date on your calendars with
little smiley faces.
Watch your bulletin and epistle for tickets to go on sale.

Use that newfound energy to bring in a treasure to be auctioned.
